Considering how solid he's been at this track his whole career, I find
it astonishing that this is Kenny Schrader's only top-five at Martinsville.

Alan Kulwicki finishes second again, recording his third career
runner-up finish while still finding himself locked out of victory lane.
Thankfully the former ASA ace from Wisconsin wouldn't have to wait much
longer to finally break through with his first win after this.
