This was the only Pay-Per-View NASCAR event there has been. It wasn't
popular,hence the reason NASCAR stays on network TV for the most part
these days. Showtime aired this event.

Actually, the 1988 July and 1989 June Pocono races were on Pay-Per-View
as well.

This's Ray Evernham's 1st Cup race as a crew chief. He was CC on the #38
car of Jim Sauter. Started 34th finished 1 lap down in 24th to race
winner Handsome Harry Gant.

Handsome Harry Gant tallies his only win of 1990. It was his second, and
last, win at Pocono and his first since 1984.

On Lap 120, Troy Beebe in the #2 crashed in Turn 3, then, for whatever
reason, then crashed into Brett Bodine's pit stall and, in the process,
tore off the pit stall wall label for the #26 Quaker State team.

This was the first Cup start out east for Beebe, a racer best known for
success in the NASCAR Southwest Tour.
