Hedgecock had not run a major NASCAR race since the Busch Series season finale in 1983 before this event. 6. Came back couple mins later and race was still under green. Bob Jenkins made fun of Benny in a replay of John Andretti barely getting sideways off the turn 8. North Wilkesboro is the only track that the Coach has never won at 9. Dale Jarrett and Bobby Labonte was nice drivers to have on your team in their primes, but short track racing wasn't their speciality. Dale Jarrett wasn't a great short track driver, but he was a sold short track driver that had 4 short wins. Bobby Labonte was weaker at short tracks than Dale Jarrett was with only one win. 10. Led laps in 7 of the 8 too. The guy really was a short track ace in his prime. 11. Not chatered teams will not run a cup race for full-time with a half-season drivers. 12. Also, the video shows the logo for Hagan's company Stratagraph on the hood. 13. Terry's move to Hendrick for 1994 had already been announced by this point and he'd even tested for the #5 team already at Indianapolis. 15. We've gotten down to 36 several times over the past few years, and I hope we never get this low again. 16. McDuffie's famous sponsor the Rumple Furniture store sponsored a NASCAR Cup car before leaving the sport. Rumple would later get a one-race comback in 2016 when Landon Cassill ran a McDuffie throwback at the Southern 500. 17.
