Geoff bodine lost a wheel in a crash with Dale jarrett and Billy
standridge early on.

Swervin Irvan was just awesome in 1994. Great run for Schrader, but
didn't lead a lap. How did Loy Allen Jr. finish 15th. If he still raced
today, there would be not much room for him in racing because he just
lacks the talent to succeed.

road race.

Ted Musgrave had a fiery crash when he blew a tire going into turn 1 and
slammed the wall hard.

Brett Bodine was punted by Morgan Shepherd early on but was able to
continue. Brett got retaliation with about 50 to go while Morgan was
running in the top 5 and was parked for 5 laps.

Rusty Wallace takes his third victory of the year in the #2 Miller
Genuine Draft Ford Thunderbird, kicking off a very successful month of
June for him in style. This was his second win in a row at Dover.

Ernie Irvan's runner-up finish was his best at Dover, while he ran well
and led a lot of laps at the Monster Mile over the years he never
unlocked the keys to victory lane.

Ted Musgrave didn't blow a tire; he clipped Dave Marcis. Marcis lost a
right front tire (typical Goodyear) on the backstraight, immediately in
front of leader Ernie Irvan. Marcis limped through Turns 3 & 4, unable
to get to the apron and the pits. Entering Turn 1 Musgrave was
side-by-side with Lake Speed, and had no other option than to dive to
the inside of Marcis, but clipped Marcis' left front with his own right
front, sending Musgrave into the wall at a terrible angle.

Later on, when Brett Bodine turned Morgan Shepherd into the wall as
retaliation for an earlier accident, Shepherd hit the wall nearly flush
on the driver's side. Two particularly hard hits at Dover in June 1994.

The commentators were Mike Joy, Buddy Baker and Kenny Wallace. The pit
road reporters were Glenn Jarrett and Randy Pemberton.
