Bodine got Hoosier's only 3 wins of the year, and then they pulled out of Cup again. It's a shame, becuase they could have really made an impact if they ever bothered to stick around for more than a year (see 1988). 2. I think both Burtons and Nemecheck took fuel only on their last stops (I know Ward did), and Geoff drove around all of them to win with no problem. That 7 car was hooked up. Which was cool to see. And I was there. 3. Taylor, by this point in the season, was letting other drivers race in his #02. Derrike Cope made the race in Taylor's car. Hut Stricklin also made this race, and so did Wally Dallenbach, Rich Bickle, Mike Wallace, and Billy Standridge. First top 5 for Ward Burton (or top 10, for that matter). 14. It's a shame Cup never worked out for Steele, he had the talent but never got a good chance to show it. 16. This was also his only lead lap finish of 1994. 18. 18fan posted: 06.26.2009 - 6:18 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) It is also fitting that Bodine gave the 7 car its first win since Kulwicki because it was the same track Kulwicki picked up his final win two years earlier. 19. It was good day for the Burton family as Ward's brother Jeff Burton finished fourth to match was was to this point his career-best finish. 22. Jeremy would become the full-time driver of the car for the rest of '94. 24. SweetRich21/43 posted: 07.29.2020 - 4:37 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The commentators were Ken Squier and Barry Dodson.
