Dominating win for Texas Terry. 3. myself posted: 02.16.2007 - 8:24 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Speaking of Musgrave....anyone else notice how similar the paint schemes were between Musgrave's Family Channel car & Biffle's National Guard car (that paint scheme is now on Casey Mears' #25)? 4. Either NASCAR DQed them, or they agreed to miss the race that weekend. 8. Bill Meade posted: 01.22.2008 - 7:53 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) They didn't agree....they were straight up DQed 9. They decided to go for the final commercial break just in time when Terry Labonte caught Rusty at lap 370 and of course missed the pass for the win. Five minutes earlier, five minutes later and people would have seen the key moment of the race live. 13. Jimnsimforever posted: 02.23.2019 - 2:49 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) OMG!! Earnhardt's normal jack man missed this race because he had to have his tonsils out. The substitute during the 2nd pit stop of the night cut his index finger off from the top knuckle down. He talked to a doctor to see if he could sew it back on and he said no. He then asked the doctor if he could continue to work the rest of the race and he told him as long as he could stand it and he actually did. Jacking a heavy car up all night with part of his finger cut off, are you kidding me. I could only imagine how bad that would be thumping. 14. He nursed his smoking car to the finish, but Gordon and Earnhardt got by. This was one of the best performances of Terry Labonte's career. His 237 laps led were his second most in any race in his career and he kept having to make passes for the lead after losing the lead in the pits. 17. It was a yellow car, might've been an old Morgan McClure car, with red numbers. 18. Rich posted: 09.25.2020 - 11:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Ken Squier and Chuck Bown were the commentators. Dr. Dick Berggren and Randy Pemberton were the pit road reporters. Rick Benjamin was in the STP pit communication center. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
