This would turn out to be his only Winston Cup road course win. 2. je24go posted: 07.18.2005 - 8:11 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Martin absoloutly dominated this race, but a little bit of oil did him in... 3. Classic E. By the way, it was oil from Mike Wallace's car that did Martin in. 4. (That is, the old turn 4, which takes you into the inner part of the course, with the carousel that we don't use anymore.) Joe finished 37th. 7. J. Earnhardt also joined the list of drivers that have won on every type of track. (Short track (under a mile in length), Intermediate track (over a mile, but less than 1.5 miles), Superspeedway (over 1.5 miles in length), Restrictor-plate (Daytona and Talladega, whether plates were run on them when someone won) and Road Courses (tracks with both left and right hand turns). Here's the list of drivers that I found who won on all the tracks: 1. Bobby Allison 2. Davey Allison 3. Geoffrey Bodine 4. Dale Earnhardt 5. Bill Elliott 6. Jeff Gordon (happened in 1997 after winning at Watkins Glen) 7. Ernie Irvan 8. Terry Labonte 9. Mark Martin 10. Benny Parsons 11. David Pearson 12. Richard Petty 13. Tim Richmond 14. Fireball Roberts 15. Darrell Waltrip 16. Cale Yarborough My favorite moment was after the race when Earnhardt jumped out of the car and hoisted his steering wheel high into the air. 8. J. Oops, slipped my mind. 9. biffle16 posted: 12.24.2006 - 5:52 pm Rate this comment: (2) (1) Only elephants should wear ivory, Richard. 10. I miss that a lot. 11. biffle16 posted: 05.28.2007 - 2:27 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Notables: Ken Pedersen's only NA$CAR start. Dan Obrist's only Cup Series start. Terry Fisher's last Cup Series start. Butch Gilliland's only Cup start in '95. One of two Cup starts for Doug George. They both came in 1995. 12. biffle16 posted: 06.01.2007 - 4:26 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Also, this was Kenny Shaw's only NA$CAR start as an owner. He owned Pedersen's car. 13. Also, the #91 car looked like it was a 5 year old body with updated decals. I miss the old Road Course Ringers like that :( 14. He had some close calls at Riverside, Watkins Glen, and probably should have won at Sears Point in 1993 if not for a road course ringer taking him out of the lead. 26. 23andJoe posted: 04.05.2014 - 8:59 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #38 owner: Bill Stroppe 27. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 02.17.2015 - 11:16 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) To the back: #21 Morgan Shepherd: Missed Driver Introductions 28. 1995z71 posted: 08.29.2016 - 12:28 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) With only 2 laps led, this was the least amount of laps Dale Sr lead & won the race. 29. Nope, just the last one that Davy Jones drove the car. After Jones failed to qualify at the 600 he was replaced by Bobby Hillin who finished out the season in the #77. 32.
