It was a 3-wide finish with Andy Hillenburg and Frank Kimmel. That finish spawned the Benny Parsons "he flew out of a canyon" joke and Ray Dunlap yelling HARRIS DEVANE!!!!!! Haven't heard from Harris since, unfortunately. 6. I went to High School with a nephew of his, as far as I knew, he went back to peanuts! 8. And he still ran more laps after they fixed his car! 12. This was pretty much the story of his 1999 season, he ran better than his results indicate. 13. Dale Earnhardt won the '95 NAPA 500, then picked up the '96 Purolator 500 for his last win before his Daytona 500 win. Then Bobby Labonte won the first two races after the Project 2000 reconfiguration in November '97 and March '98. Gordon became the third to turn the trick. The only exception was Labonte himself, who of course won in the '96 finale but could only muster a fourth the following March. 14. 23andJoe posted: 06.04.2014 - 6:09 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #08 owner: Frank Keziah (per NASCAR owner standings list) 15. So when they did the surgery around nine months later, they found out his bone had been chipped off by all the racing. 16. Does it mean that he got so tired and exhausted that he just pulled off the track? 17. NewJack posted: 09.09.2015 - 1:17 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) #16: He had carbon monoxide poisoning. You can't get that in qualifying now let alone the race! 20. zuel660 posted: 08.15.2019 - 9:42 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) Dubious streak for DW, as it was the 17th time in the last 19 races he entered that he started in the 43rd and last position. 21.
