The announcers said he was nervous, but it's no wonder that he failed to qualify. 3. Steve posted: 08.18.2006 - 2:59 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) Ernie Irvan never won the Winston Cup, but he was one of the best drivers of the early 90's. He won on short tracks (Bristol, Richmond), intermediates (Charlotte, Atlanta) restrictor plate tracks (Daytona [500] and Talladega), and both road courses (Sonoma and Watkins Glen). He was a very versitile driver. 4. Frogger49 posted: 09.16.2006 - 1:19 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I really wanted Fellows to get Jeff Gordon for the victory, but that just wasn't in the cards. A late race restart after Johnny Benson's crash caused chaos on the last lap. Joe Nemechek, who had run in the top 10 most of the race, got punted into the trap in the Inner Loop on the last lap. Ted Christopher in the #13 (running 21st on the last lap) got spun into the trap at Turn 10, and Earnhardt went wide at Turn 11, scattering styrofoam blocks everywhere. 5. Of all of the intos by the way the one at Bristol 99 Flirtin with Disaster, Which I actually be heard briefly in Fox Cup Broadcasts this year too by the way was my favorite they did, but I think this one is a close 2nd but also I think in times like this Maybe We Need something you'd would not expect and use has moviation for yourself and your loved ones as we wait and hope that is no more Conravirus!!!! And everyone will be okay. 51. Rich posted: 12.30.2020 - 3:52 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Bob Jenkins and Ned Jarrett were the commentators.
