Despite the conspiracy theories of why the racecar handled so poorly, I realize now it was an equipment problem that happened. Good run for Ward Burton as he would win the Southern 500 a year later driving in a Dodge. Also the race where Joe Nemechek was pissed after wrecking on the third lap saying "don't know what's going on thru these guys minds, just not using their heads today..." 6. [Turtle Wax and CD2 were only associates at this time] 7. Steve posted: 11.22.2012 - 1:17 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Jeff Gordon's first lead lap finish of the year 2000. An uncharacteristic struggle for "Super G" made him wait until race 5 to finish in the winner's lap during his first full year with Robbie Loomis as crew chief. 8. Source:NASCAR 2001 Preview and Press Guide seen in lower left corner of Mall.com results page, and seen in main photo in Southern 500 results page. The only difference is the number colors. Yellow in spring, red in the fall and close to his 2001 scheme. 10. Nascar Lead Lap Points posted: 05.14.2014 - 9:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Owner of the #90 was Junie Donlavey 11. Terry Maynard posted: 06.02.2015 - 9:37 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) With regards to Post # 9 above - Sterling Marlin was driving his regular paint scheme in this race, The black front end with "Coors Light" in white on the hood and the pale yellow rear quarter panels with "Coors" in Blue and a much smaller "Original" above it in red. Jayski shows that Sterling drove the Brooks & Dunn car for the race, which is also wrong. If you look at the picture, the wall behind the car says Las Vegas on it. 12. @Statscrash posted: 12.01.2018 - 12:42 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Man this has to go in the list of worst race title sponsors...also I just looked if this website even still exists and everything came up in what I think is Chinese. 13. Danish Pie posted: 12.01.2018 - 5:28 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) The sponsor website doesn't exist anymore. According to Google Translate, the Chinese on the page (you're right, it is Chinese) states that the domain name is for sale. 14.
