I think this was also Junie Donlavey's last race as a Nextel/Winston Cup owner. 4. driver1 posted: 12.06.2006 - 1:25 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Actually the race in the fall at Charlotte was Junie Donlavey's last start as a car owner. 5. biffle16 posted: 02.05.2007 - 12:41 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kimmel's last cup start as of 2-4-07. 6. He had a dominating win in 1992 should have won another in 1987 if not for yet another dirty driving deed by Earnhardt on the last lap in the tunnel turn, which was typical Earnhardt in 1987 when he was at hos worst. 16. mister83 posted: 07.10.2015 - 5:16 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sponsor correction: #12 Ryan Newman- Alltel/ Sony Vega 17. It all happened the week prior while Jr was invited to a party at Ricky Hendrick's house celebrating a recent victory for Jimmie or Jeff, after a few beers Jr decided to dive into the pool not knowing it was the shallow end of the pool and hit his head at the bottom causing a gash on his forehead that needed medical attention. So Jimmie Johnson volunteered to drive Jr to the nearest hospital to receive stitches and a bandage to his wound. After the medical visit was over and it was now 4am Jimmie drove Jr home and made him stay up as long as possible because of his head injury with beer and video games until they both eventually passed out. Now race weekend arrives at Pocono Jr didnt want the public to know about is drunk escapade and could not wear a baseball cap with the bandage showing so he decided to wear a red durag instead which completely covered his head. Funny thing about this Jr's fans started wearing Red Durags and his Souvenir Hauler started selling Red Durags. 20.
