And who would have thought it would be one of 25 top 10s, on the way to the final Winston Cup championship? 2. Steve posted: 03.14.2006 - 9:20 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Biffle DNQ'd. Kenseth dominated and my friend wanted us to leave with a lap to go. I refused because ya just never know. He was right as Kenseth won by over 9 seconds. Oh well. Still was great to be in Vegas for the race and amazingly I didn't gamble the whole weekend I was there and I even stayed in a casino at Stateline. Only 1 of two times I'd ever been to Vegas and not gambled. The other was kinda for work; so I shouldn't have gambled then. But for me not to gamble while in Vegas on pleasure; those who know me, know that's just not me. ;) 5. We bolted for the car thinking there was no way the race would restart, but being the desert, the rain left quickly and the track dried quick and we watched the ending at the NASCAR Cafe. If I remember right, I think Nemecheck won that Busch race too. 27. Jeff posted: 08.23.2012 - 1:19 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Nemechek that is. Oops. ;) 28. Just look at the changes NASCAR made to the points system with the institution of the Chase, that's why. His then-teammate, Carl Edwards, nearly pulled off the same thing in 2011 by winning here and then carrying through the whole season (and the Chase) with that win & consistency, but lost the tiebreaker. 34.
