There are more and more grooves and it's not as bad as it was. 2. mcmurrayfan posted: 06.15.2006 - 3:37 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Cup debut for Johnny Sauter. 3. biffle16 posted: 02.03.2007 - 7:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Amazing qualifying run by Derrike Cope. 25th. :) 4. Labonte was tapped by someone and hit the wall in turn 3, fuel cell erupting in flames. He was ok. 5. Fittingly in 2003 that All-Star game was held in Chicago at US Cellular Field, the home of the Chicago White Sox, just two days after this race. In case your curious the American League won 7-6, 2003 was the first year that game decided home field advantage for the World Series. The car Ryan Newman won here driving was the same car he won with at Dover earlier in the year. 11. Interestingly, only fans with Cingular Wireless cell phones could participate. This race's poll question was "Who will be the first driver to win their 2nd Winston Cup race?" (Career, not year) A-- Elliott Sadler (28%) (Twice in 2004) B-- Greg Biffle (26%) (Twice in 2004) C-- Jamie McMurray (37%) (2007) D-- Johnny Benson Jr. (9%) (never won again) 15. On the in-car you see him open up his visor and wipe his eyes, as if tired, on the trioval before it gets away in the next corner. He's admitted that he only performed at 80% of his potential during his career due to partying and not really working out, and I wonder if a lack of focus/being tired or hungover contributed to this crash. 16.
