He can drive his brains out but if his car was that bad what can he do about it. 5. Anonymous posted: 12.16.2004 - 5:46 am Rate this comment: (0) (2) In the rulebook, it says that a driver has one shot to come out of the garage and get up to speed. Jr. was in the garage about 10 different times. Another way NASCAR cheated Jr. into having a better finish. 6. Jake posted: 12.20.2004 - 1:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) This is definitely a track that NASCAR needs to get rid of. After Rockingham closed, Las Vegas became my least favorite track. If NASCAR wants to keep it, they should do to it what they did to Homestead w/ the banking. Now Homestead's better instead of being a boring track. But I except Dale Jr. to do a helluva lot better in '05 because he'll be testing at Vegas and California and January, which will help him. I even expect him to run at Vegas like he did in 2003. Besides, he was only in the garage 5 times, enough w/ the bull that NASCAR plays a favorite to him, 'cause you know it ain't true. They'd probably let Jeffy-weffy get away w/ anything when he really should be penalized, because Gordon's NASCAR's biggest crybaby. 7. Anonymous posted: 02.13.2005 - 4:34 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Why should they remove Las Vegas from the schedule? Because your driver struggled mightily at it? The race two years ago, with Kenseth winning, was rather exciting and this race wasn't terrible, although admittedly there wasn't a lot of exciting racing. Maybe they should remove every track that Earnhardt isn't good at it, that way he'll have an easy path to the championship. Or maybe ignorant fans like you can just take their heads out of their asses and stop posting lame comments that make yourself out to be an immature dipshit. 8. The tracks at Chicago, Kansas, and California should be abondoned by NA$CAR. The racing at those tracks sucks in ways unimaginable; my dislike for these tracks has nothing to do with who runs well there and who doesn't. But Brian France, who had been drinking before he hit a tree while driving, want to keep them. Why??????????????????????????????????? 15. biffle16 posted: 01.21.2007 - 7:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Jake, if you want to see a real whiner, look at Kevin Harvick. After the race, he was bitching and moaning about running out of fuel with two laps to go. He fell from 2nd to 21st. ;) 16. most posted: 01.31.2007 - 12:22 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I really like Steve's points again. Let's sum this one up, Jr. breaks the rules more, Harvick gets pissed at his crew, and Kenseth wins again at Vegas. I assume all Dale Jr. fans hate Vegas since Dale finishes bad there. 17. mcmurrayfan posted: 02.19.2007 - 3:52 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kyle Busch made his first start in this race. Cooper posted: 04.23.2010 - 8:59 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 18fan, Kyle hit the wall hard off of turn 2 and then off of 4 within the first 10 laps. He hit the wall so hard that it knocked the tow out of the car which made the car impossible to drive. With Kyle not running for points they loaded up and went home. The reason the caution didn't come out was because there was no debris from the car, and both hits were solo accidents. Hopefully this helps. 30. Evan posted: 04.11.2014 - 8:58 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I like Las Vegas from the entertainment standpoint, I always thought Vegas needed a racetrack. The worst thing though is Roush pretty much owned the joint, Martin, Burton(twice), Kenseth(twice), Carl Edwards has run well there too. Kenseth made a strong statement at the beginning of the year, kind of an "in-your face" in his own way, winning two straight races. Junior struggled all race long and I can still remember their terrible effort in this race. It seemed like Junior was never at home on the West Coast and this was one of the efforts that doomed him for the championship. I think he could have been the 2004 champ if not for getting snakeyes at Vegas, and pulling down on Carl Edwards at Atlanta and getting hooked and being spun out. 37. Warner Brothers made and distributed the film, having shot footage for it at several Cup races during the 2003 season. America Online sponsored the movie, with its #30 Chevrolet featured prominently in the flick, and had its new driver Johnny Sauter run twice early in the season with a stylish black-and-blue paint scheme to promote the movie's release. 46. That's what JR did in this one. 47. Corey posted: 04.05.2020 - 2:26 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I see comment #18 aged well. Pennzoil is still around and has sponsored many cars since this race.
