I don't understand why NASCAR penalizes drivers points for little stuff like this!!! 3. And also the big eared freak Kurt Butthole wins. 5. JJ Lehto posted: 04.03.2005 - 7:24 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Rusty had the best car. Busch stayed out on the last pit stop with about 110 to go and thats why he won. Of course every time Rusty was about to pass him a caution came out. 6. Steve posted: 01.13.2007 - 2:03 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) Best finish ever for BAM Racing. The team's best finish WITHOUT Schrader behind the wheel? 17th! German Klaus Graf drove a second BAM entry (#59) at Infineon 3 months after this race, making his only Cup start. The best non-Schrader finish for the #49 Dodge has been 21st in the 2006 Daytona 500, with rookie Brent Sherman behind the wheel. 10. This was the last time a Pontiac *finished* a race. The last start was at Pocono, where Todd Bodine did a start-and-park. 12. Um, because he did something that was blatant cheating! Dale Jr could run over Mark Martins head and Jake would justify it though, that's why I hate the man, his fans are uneducated! 14. The last Pontiac overall was Andy Belmont's #59 "Dave Despain 4 President" car that ran in the Nextel Open and finished 16th. 18. Kenseth had bumped McMurray out of the way on the last lap to take over 5th. 21. And here I thought I was going nuts every time I saw that car listed as a Pontiac in the record books. I remember the commentators saying that John Carter, Bodine's car owner, was a former associate of Morgan Shepherd who broke away to form his own team. Shepherd also fielded Dodges in 2004. 22. Bowyer to this day STILL hasn't fessed up nearly two years later, and the implications of Bowyer's spin were much greater than Junior's. 24. Their backup was the speedway car they would run in Texas, which may or may not have been able to beat Hillenburg for the final spot, but as that car was putting in promising laps at an earlier speedway test, they opted not to take the risk of running it in Bristol and packed up. 27. rm posted: 04.01.2020 - 11:37 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kevin Lepage's second stint with Morgan-McClure comes to an end with this race. Lepage had impressed in 2003 when he made 8 starts for the team and posted 5 of the team's best 10 finishes all year. His 2004 performance was lacking by comparison and Jimmy Spencer took the seat for most of the rest of the season, though Spencer didn't fare much better. 28.
