Kurt Busch gets screwed again he had a flat tire while running 3rd and finished 29th with a top 5 car. 3. dalejrrules14 posted: 05.07.2006 - 2:57 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) this was supposed to be the third straight year i miss this race but i went to my friends house and watched the first 300 laps.then i went home to listen to the race.and then junior won!im so happy! 4. He was considering college, but chose racing. How dare Joe say he is unintelligent. Big deal Joe, you use words like facetious and perpetuate. Anyone can buy a dictionary. 6. Dale Jr. did a great job Saturday night. My pick for Rookie-of-the-Year, Denny Hamlin, finishes 2nd, and Sterling Marlin gets his first Top 10 of the year on his 30th-year anniversary of Cup racing. 8. I ignore those most of the time. Nice run for Sterlin' finishing 9th. And nice job Jr. for getting his first win this year. 12. JJ48 posted: 05.11.2006 - 1:14 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yates owned #88 caught cheating but nobody here says anything. If Hendrick had done it there would lots of comments about the "Cheater". Accept it, all crews push it to the limit and when they are caught, they don't think they crossed the line. Hendrick, Roush, Childress, and now Yates. I am not defending previous issues with the #48 team, just tired of reading about just them. Even Richard Petty said that none of the cars are 100%. 13. JJ48 posted: 05.12.2006 - 12:20 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sorry, but they just haven't been caught as much as the 48, not that the 48 is the only ones pushing the limit. 15. mk17ce99 posted: 05.12.2006 - 1:12 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) well, if what you say is true that the 88 team hasnt been caught as much as the 48 team, then that must make the 48 team a bunch of dumb asses! 16. Anonymous0 posted: 05.12.2006 - 4:22 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) LOL mk17ce99,awesome point,it must make the 48 team that. The reason why there's pretty much no one talking about the 88 is because DJ doesn't get under peoples' skin,he doesn't annoy them,he doesn't rub people the wrong way like Johnson does, every time I see that moron Knaus I just get pissed off,and Johnson just acts cocky and he never claims responsibility for any wreck he causes. Which leads me to this. Jr has received a ton of respect because he takes claim for things he causes,he wants the respect of the drivers he is racing with, took claim for Vegas and Charlotte last year with Vickers and Waltrip, and for the awesome Richmond race this past weekend,he backed off when he got too close to Harvick, which shows maturity, and not wanting to tear up your equipment, and again it shows respect,I'd say that one day there is a good chance that Jr could be the cleanest, most respectful driver out there,as soon as Burton and Bobby Labonte retire though because there are none cleaner than those 2 are.Jr is after them. 17. Thomas posted: 05.16.2006 - 9:15 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The 88 team at Richmond did not have nearly as bad of an infraction as the 48 at Daytona. This is especially because the infraction was found before qualifying and Slugger Labbe admitted that it was simply something he wanted to try out to see if it was legal. It turns out NASCAR claimed it wasn't, so Slugger, being a classy guy, offered to resign. However, since Robert Yates realized that it is a minor infraction and he probably approved the test of the questioned part himself, he said no. JJ48, you make a good Johnson fan. You seem as rude and as in denial as he is. 19. JJ48 posted: 05.16.2006 - 11:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Thomas, you can continue to live in fantasy land where every team except Hendrick is just trying figure out if something is legal and Hendrick is only trying to cheat. But I live in the real world. As far as being rude, what was so rude? Calling others a bunch of dumb asses is rude and I returned the favor. I am tired of hearing about the cheaters but when someone's driver is caught, it is ok, because they were just "checking" to see if it is legal. Get real Thomas. 20. Anonymous0 posted: 05.18.2006 - 6:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The reason why we don't mind other drivers teams doing that is because we despise Hendrick,it's a fact, just as fans don't like Jr,why i'll never know that,DEI doesn't cheat,Jr doesn't wreck people on purpose and he also takes blame for the wrecks that he does cause and apologizes for them, who knew someone could do that, but just don't like Hendrick,it's known that RicK Hendrick is a felon,Gordon and Evernham cheated for years and he caused wrecks year after year after year and on a rare occasion he'd take blame, and now that has moved to Johnson and Knaus, the cheating and winning too much and wreck after wreck after wreck, does not take blame for what he causes,he's too cocky, and he's just out of it,he doesn't know how to draft no matter what the 2 joke plate races there have been this year say, those weren't real races, and that's all there is,Thomas knows what he's talking about,JJ48 is the one who lives in a Fantasy world 22. Kevin Harvick never got the handle back on his car after not pitting and its a surprise because he had the race well in hand. Denny Hamlin shows his first flashes of brilliance at Richmond in the race but he gets passed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. 33.
