Yes, other rookies have done better, but Reed is only 20 years old! Atta boy, Reed! Good season recoveries for Ryan Newman, Robby Gordon, and, even though I don't like him, Greg Biffle. 4. So his crew chief is Doug Richert, and he was Dale's crew chief in 1980, so what? I hate Biffle because he thinks everything is someone else's fault. He accuses other drivers for showing disrespect, yet he's such a hypocrite. If you want to know about his dirty driving, just ask Sterling Marlin, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch, or just about anybody who's driven for Richard Childress. I was reading a magazine and saw an article on the Texas race. He said that he admitted he backed off the throttle early. If he knows he slowed early, why was he mad at Kurt Busch? If someone slowed like that in front of me, I'd run into them too, even if I didn't want to! 7. Stupid is as stupid does posted: 05.18.2006 - 7:38 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Here is how to stop the idiot(s) who bleed Jr. red. Don't respond to the idiots. As for Jr. and his finish, a top 5 is a top 5. Did he have a winning car? No. Did he lead a lap? No. As for the fools calling this race from the booth, Gordon didn't win the race. There isn't "if the race would have been one more lap" because it ran the scheduled laps. You want to get into the what if's, what if the race had ended earlier when Gordon was a lot further back? What if many of the races Jeff has won had been 1 lap more, Jeff wouldn't have as many wins as he does. What if Davey Allison hadn't died? Earnhardt Sr. wouldn't have 7 and Gordon wouldn't have 4. What if Irvan hadn't crashed in '94? Sr. wouldn't have 7. Jr. ain't Sr. never has, never will be. Sr. won ROY, Jr. didn't. Sr. won a championship his second year, Jr. didn't. Sr. was the Intimidator, Jr. is the poster boy. What happened is, Biffle finally had a complete race. Like him or not, he won the race. As for anybody that has driven for RCR? How many races has Biffle been parked because his spoiled brat behavior got him parked? ZERO!!!!!! Oh, and the RCR racer in particular. How come he wouldn't even talk to the media after Richmond, yet his "team mate" (who learned how to not be a sore loser from driving for Jack Roush) stood outside his hauler and talked with the media. Oh, and how many races has Biffle led the most laps, yet not win and then run off to his hauler pouting like a damn baby? Oh speaking of leading laps, Biffle has led 779 laps this year. How many has Harvick led? 292. My final what if? What if Jr. would have told Teresa "Screw you, I'm drivin' daddy's car?" Harvick would be fighting Jeff Green, Robby Gordon, and Johnny Sauter for the "field filler" positions. So Steve, take your multi-million dollar sponsorship and intentionally run into somebody. Now we know why you like Harvick. Respect is for the driver, not the car. Go Biffle, don't worry Thomas, like someone told me, positions 7-14 will see a lot of movement. How many spots will Harvick drop before he's able to get over Richmond? I guess we'll find out at Richmond. 9. You ask when Biffle has been penalized for "spoiled brat behavior". You left a door wide open. You asked when he had been penalized for it. It doesn't mean he hasn't done it! And it doesn't mean he shouldn't have been penalized for it. I saw him obviously jump a restart at Homestead. No penalty. After the next caution flag, Rusty Wallace jumped the restart. He was penalized instantly. Sounds spoiled to me. Something else that sounds spoiled is punching a fellow competitor (Jay Sauter) while he's still in his racecar. What kind of jerk does that? Stupid is as stupid does, you're hilarious and correct. Second of all, since racing-reference has no records of the All-Star races. I am going to provide my comments on the page for the most recent race. If you didn't see the Nextel All-Star race, thank God you don't have cable, or that your VCR failed, or that you forgot, or that you're apathetic, or whatever other reason you missed it. If you did, then you will never need a thesaurus or an unabridged dictionary if you can't remember what the word shit means, because you have just witnessed it in primetime sports form. There's not much else to say about this one, except that Tony Stewart should be tested for bipolar disorder, Kasey Kahne should learn where the brake pedal is located, and Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick need to realize that most of their wins and good finishes are undeserved since the rest of the competition has already been eliminated during most of their good races. Enough said. I want to see a real race now, so I'm going to watch the 1992 Winston All-Star Race. 13. It is excrement, and, in my opinion, it is also your statement that Tony Stewart is bipolar (which, by the way, means that a person is irrational and pessimistic; do you have scientific proof that Tony is so?), and that Kasey Kahne can't find the brake pedal. IT'S ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!! Would you back off if you had the chance to win ONE MILLION DOLLARS???!!! And I find it hilarious that you imply that Johnson and Harvick only finish strongly when they've eliminated most of the competition, and follow that with, "I'm going to watch the 1992 Winston All-Star race." Please be consistent! 17. Anonymous posted: 05.24.2006 - 8:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Hey Steve (STUPID) I'll try to keep this in short mostly factual statements, so you don't have such a hard time following it. I believe and I speak FACTUALLY, in response your post, that you were bashing Biffle and said to ask such and such racers "or just about anybody who's driven for Richard Childress." That does include Harvick, Steve. (Stupid) No door was left wide open Steve (Stupid) by the guy that wrote the post your referring to, because whether Biffle has or has not exhibited "spoiled brat behavior" the FACT of the matter is Steve (Stupid) he has not been PARKED for his behavior in any of the top three series. Harvick was "Parked" at Martinsville (2002) and not allowed to drive in any series that weekend because of his acting like he thought he made the rules. Right or wrong? Doesn't matter. He didn't race. He'd been in a lot of trouble already leading up to that. Earnhardt Sr. didn't get first, the reputation, then secondly the respect he deserved by doing what Harvick did. One of his (Harvicks) many quotes after that incident: ôOne of the most important lessons IÆve learned here is that I wasnÆt seeing down the path they (NASCAR) were looking,ö Harvick said. ôThatÆs a road I have to be able to see down in order to succeed in this sport. We can win races and we can do a lot of things, but unless I can walk up into that trailer and sit down in that office and have a normal, decent conversation with them (NASCAR), then IÆm not going to get anywhere. IÆm more understanding of the things that they do now. I'd like to see your NASCAR credentials Steve (Stupid), because I don't believe you have any say what so ever about how NASCAR enforces their rules, or lack of rules for that matter, or lack of consistency of the rules. What the drivers do, determines in large part what NASCAR HAS to do, (in terms of stupid rules). Example: Two of the dumbest rules that NASCAR has implemented in the last couple years has been the "lucky dog" and the Green, White, Checkered. The lucky dog was put in place in large part because of agressive drivers. It was Dale Jarrett who was sitting sideways (and not the little loose wiggle sidways like these blowhard broadcasters talk about) at New Hampshire and with the caution clearly displayed, Jarret had his window net down and saw drivers racing towards him AFTER the caution was displayed. It used to be a "gentleman's agreement" not to race back to the caution. Some drivers couldn't see fit to be able to handle that, so NASCAR changed it. I don't like it. Sometimes, a driver gets a lap back under this condition and wins the race. Is it really a win? Under the rules at the time the race was run, yes. Do I hate the driver because he won under the rules, no. Just not happy with it, but can't change it. Green/White/Checkered flag? Why? Why make a race longer, just to satisfy the fans? It's scheduled for a certain number of laps, then run that number. It's benefitted Biffle twice, but yet, I don't like the rule, Matt Kenseth has been bitten twice by it and I don't like the rule either way. It doesn't mean I hate Kenseth, Johnson, Jarrett or Biffle, it means I don't like the rule, but I can't do anything about it, except turn the TV off. The only thing I see you have correct in your post is that Biffle jumped the restart. I'm confused as to how he got two laps down, but then again, in the 2003 season, Biffle wasn't much of a factor. That's more of an issue with NASCAR not enforcing their rules Consistently. My guess would be why Biffle got away with it was because he wasn't a factor in the race. I'd venture to say that word went out about jumping the restart after Biffle did that, and then what did Rusty do? Jumped the restart. As for Rusty, he jumped several restarts in his career, sometimes he got away with it and sometimes he got nailed. I'd have to say though, that the guy who is dropping the green flag probably has the best view of the restart over anybody and would probably know whether the restart is jumped. But listening to the blowhards calling the race and just because they "think" the restart was jumped doesn't mean the restart was jumped. It seems to me that NASCAR didn't have their rear ends screwed on during that race, with a lot of scoring issues and cautions lasting a lot longer than normal while they figured out what they were doing. That isn't making an excuse that Biffle didn't jump the restart, because it looked like he did to me as well. It's more that NASCAR had a hard time getting their heads out of their rear-ends and that a lot of things were "gotten away with" that shouldn't have been. For instance. What lap was it that Harvick took out Newman and Kurt Busch? Harvick take any responsibility for that? Takes out two top 10 points contenders, and finished 123 points better than Newman. I don't recall seeing Newman waiting for Harvick in his pits. I do remember seeing a pretty gracious interview with Busch. But jumping a restart doesn't have much to do with the off track, or post race behavior that Harvick seems to have such a problem with, so what jumping a restart has to do with any of this seems pretty pointless. So black flag Biffle, what change would that have had on the outcome of the race. Biffle wasn't a factor in the race. What really is your point about Biffle jumping a restart. Whether most or part of the field was gone, Johnson was speeding on pit row. That's a race condition, Steve (Stupid). Doesn't have anything to do with what ANYBODY thinks of Johnson. Non the less, he was penalized, yet came back and won the All-Star race. As for Biffle punching Sauter, that was NOT in the Cup series. I'm not denying that Biffle punched Sauter, but if Biffle is dumb enough to punch someone while still in their car, I hope Biffle hurt his hand. Biffle didn't get away with it though Steve (Stupid). He was fined 15K, docked 100 points and put on probation. Early in the 250-lap race, Biffle got in the back of SauterÆs car, sending him spinning. Biffle later admitted he made a mistake but didnÆt wreck Sauter on purpose. After making repairs, Sauter returned to the track and turned right into the side of BiffleÆs car, crashing both cars out of the race with 15 laps to go. Biffle admitted that he made a mistake, Steve (Stupid). How many times has Biffle gotten out of his car and punched someone? Harvick was parked because he dumped Coy Gibbs in the wall (with his truck, Steve, not his fist). And then after that, Harvick said this: "The track wasnÆt even close to being ready (after the caution), and I stayed in the throttle,ö Harvick said after he got out of his truck, defending his actions. ôI guess they thought I was retaliating (against Gibbs). What are you going to do?ö So Harvick took it upon himself to make the determination that the track wasn't ready and he admitted he didn't lift before punting Gibbs in the wall. Harvick was already on probabtion from a month prior to that at Bristol, when he and Biffle got into it. Biffle dumped him into the wall., Ok Kevin, be a man about it, it's Bristol! But no, Harvick goes down to Biffle's pit and tells Biffle's crew chief that he"ll (Harvick) be waiting on Biffle. After Biffle gets out of the car, Harvick jumps over a barrier and over Biffle's car to try to settle it while Biffle's doing an interview. At least when Biffle did punch Sauter, he connected. How many times has Harvick repeated his little "brat" behavior? How come when Harvick wins, he's "Happy Harvick". But when Harvick and or his crew chief screw up their call on a pit stop, Harvick isn't so "Happy"? Pouting in his hauler after Richmond,(http://www.nascar.com/2006/news/headlines/cup/05/07/kharvick_jburton/index.html) and Biffle is the jerk? The only thing that kept Harvick in the 29 was his fluke at the Brickyard in '03. How many races this year alone has Biffle lead the most laps and not won the race. Check 'em, and Biffle at least did interviews afterwards. If that doesn't sum it up, maybe this will: Harvick - Truck Series, 10 years 2 wins, 20 Top 5's, 31 Top 10's, no championships Biffle - Truck Series, 16 wins, 42 Top 5's, 54 Top 10's, 1 championship Harvick - Busch Series, 8 years 20 wins, 72 top 5's, 100 Top 10's, 1 championship Biffle - Busch Series, 7 years 18 wins, 76 top 5's, 100 top 10's, 1 championship Harvick - Cup Series, 6 full years 6 wins, 34 top 5's, 71 top 10's, highest point finish 5th, 2003 Biffle - Cup Series, 4 full years 10 wins, 24 top 5's, 30 top 10's, highest point finish, 2nd, 2005. Yeah, Harvick won rookie of the year in 2001, whoopie. His 2001 season was a fluke and rode the emotional loss of Sr. His 2002 season confirms that. He thought he was Sr.. Sr. won ROY in 79 and his first championship in '80. Kurt Busch was runner-up to Harvick in the '01 ROY and he's already got a championship. In Harvick's career, ROY don't mean all that much. Stupid is as stupid does had more to do with the idiots talking about Junior, until you demonstrated where stupid really is, Steve (STUPID). It's obvious from your posts each race that you hate Biffle. Just because you hate Biffle doesn't make him a jerk. He has admitted he was wrong several times, when he's messed up and there has been times where he has messed up and not admitted it. Either way, doesn't make him a jerk. It does make you look pretty good with egg on your face, when your reactionary comments can be completely refuted with FACTS! Oh, and Steve (Stupid) you gotta finish first to win the million bucks!
