Kurt Busch gets a solid 2nd place hopefully his season is heading the right direction. 2. Jeff Gordon had a nasty turn 1 crash. Luckily, he was OK. Carl Edwards had a hilarious pit-road mishap during green flag pit stops. The jack fell out from under the car. The stop lasted for about a 1 minute 10 seconds. 4. HomeDepot20TS posted: 06.12.2006 - 12:48 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) It was a pretty good race for me personally with Denny first and Smoke 3rd. Great day for JGR, great month of rebounding for the entire team. Gordon's wereck was scary I was pretty relieved to see him get out. 5. At least Hamlin deserved to win on this day since he led nearly half the race, and didn't pull a Jimmie Johnson routine by only leading the last lap after having a 20th place car the rest of the race. Maybe he'll become grateful of having such a good car and owner after winning his first race, however, look what winning did to Kevin Harvick's attitude in 2001. 12. Kind of out of line ey? 15. mcmurrayfan posted: 06.16.2006 - 4:21 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Tony Stewart's 100th Cup Top 5 in his 262nd start, that gotta be more than 35 percent of the time he has finished in the top 5. 16. That's simply amazing, considering how many times the #11 won in the 70's and 80's. 18. biffle16 posted: 02.26.2007 - 1:16 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) And of course, the early 90's! 19. Janet posted: 04.20.2008 - 1:26 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) One of my favorite drivers, Denny Hamlin, gets his first victory and I didn't get to see it! We had a major power outage throughout our neighborhood that occurred before the race started and the power company didn't get the power back on until well after the race was over. Bummer I didn't get to dee him win. I don't know what it was Denny said about Mark Martin but I hope it isn't true or that it was taken out of context. I will say as much as I like Denny sometimes he lets his temper get the best of him. Hopefully with time and maturity Denny will learn to control his temper and learn from the class and dignity that people like Mark Martin posess. 20. People wondered how a kid who had never even seen the track before could come in and be so dominant. This is how. Congrats to him and kudos to Papyrus for STILL having one of the most popular racing games in the world. 22.
