David Gilliland makes his Cup debut. 2. mcmurrayfan posted: 06.28.2006 - 2:06 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kurt Busch makes his 200th Cup start. Dale Jr. was moving up through the field until....there is always one of those at Infineon for jr,he got run into by the spinning car of Pruett(how many times was he in an accident?)then he fell apart after that.Jr,you will get your top ten some day. David Gilliland...the busch driver that could...in the Dodge Save mart 350.A good run for a first start on a road course. Lastly Gillilands car was also co-owned by Morgan Shephard!YAY SHEPPY! By the way...Gay Gordo won! Sorry for that. 4. Darrell posted: 06.28.2006 - 11:20 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Shepherd doesn't own the 72. Then in turn 9 came the vicious Schrader-Hubert-Marlin crash. Here's a video of the first lap I took from our seats in turn 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Di9frppupIk 16. On this day though, that feeling didn't seem to be present as grizzled vet Terry Labonte held out for a very solid 3rd-place finish on a fuel mileage gamble by crew chief Phillippe Lopez. Despite getting passed by Jeff Gordon for the win, Labonte stole the show and with the reception he received during the closing laps and post-race, it didn't seem to matter that he "only" finished 3rd. It was the finest moment for the HOF team by a long, long shot. 30.
