Would've caught the 29 for 8th about 20 laps before had he not hit the wall off turn four. Awesome run, Michael. Other guys with good finishes: McMurray (7th) Bill Elliott (11th) Paul Menard (12th) Robby Gordon (13th) Dave Blaney, who had a top 10 run going all day (18th) David Reutimann (Career and NNC best: 15th) Jimmie Johnson ran out of gas with about seven to go, relegating him to a 19th place finish. It also should be noted that Brian Vickers would've finished in the top six or seven had Jeff Green and Ryan Newman not wrecked in front of the entire field off of a restart. 2. Jr. finished up a heck of a week by finishing 5th :). Mikey! finally has something to smile about this season with his first top ten since Michigan in 05' & Awesome Bill from Dawsonville pulls out an 11th place finish 5. And for all those who probably believe im pissed as hell about Jr going to Hendrick will be shocked to know i am very happy for the move :O! This is truly a once in a lifetime oppurtunity for him. And Im sure he'll make the best of it, the only thing i dont like about it is then ill have to change my name back to DaleJrFan16, cause it sure would be akward to have DEI/HendrickFan16 as a name.:/ oh well... While im still talking about junior ill say grats to DEI for finishing 2nd,5th, and 12th. Great to see em up front. Also good runs by Awesome Bill for finishing 11th. All these veterans up at the front, that hasnt happened lateley. Seems as though we always have the same ppl up there each week, now im seeing all these new faces hah. Also im surprised that nobody commented that this broke Kenseths streak of finishing every lap this year.Im rambling so ill stop here. 7. Except for the new NASCAR "fans", who needs crashes to have an entertaining race? The only bad thing about the race was Carl "Golly Gosh, the car was sweet today awesome I'm just having lots of awesome cool fun" Edwards winning. Now that he finally won a Cup race maybe he can lay off the Busch series. 8. I truely believe he would have won had he not hit the wall. But with bad pitstops, a crash, and hitting the wall....ya can't be upset with second.... 15. It happened during a commercial, the debris wasn't shown and they went back green as if nothing had happened. 23.
