Solid runs for: Ricky Rudd (13th) Tony Raines (15th) Bill Elliott (18th) Jeff Green (19th) 2. Zed--3_8fan4eva posted: 08.06.2007 - 5:02 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Battle of the Beer cans lol. I dont like Kurt but have to give him credit.....Its been ahwile since someone has dominated a race like that. JR comes home 2nd after spin!!!! Good to see Rudd come home in 13th Raines coming home 15th and Denny Hamlin continues his dominance at Pocono 3. Anonymous posted: 08.06.2007 - 6:05 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The most dominating win at Pocono. Jeff Gordon came close in 1998 with 164 laps led, though. Not much else to say about this race, except that it was one of the most boring of all time. Unless you're a Kurt Busch fan of course. 4. Plus, they didn't blow many calls today. Even though it doesn't pertain to NA$CAR, the IRL race at Michigan today was awesome! 5. Zac posted: 08.06.2007 - 3:27 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Kevin Harvick should be sat out for being an ***hole. That guy sucks. Nice job: - Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s crew for putting shocks on the car and making an amazing turnaround the last 50 laps. - Clint Bowyer (8th) - Ryan Newman (7th and spent all day in the top five) - Ricky Rudd (13th) -Tony Raines (13th and had a great qualifying position and maintained a good pace during the race all day) Boo Nascar for sitting Robby Gordon. 8. Zan posted: 08.07.2007 - 5:27 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) BORRRRRRRRRINGGGGGGGG........... The Busch race Saturday was much better. And I have a question for Rusty - didn't Kevin Harvick have to sit out a Cup race after he had some kind of incident in the previous day's Busch race a few years ago? Maybe not, tho. I'm probably wrong. It just seems like I remember something like that. 11. Zan posted: 08.07.2007 - 5:44 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) No comments from DaleJrFan15/16? I was wondering what you thought about Jr.'s "spin out" to bring out a caution right when he needed the shock change. Coincidence? 12. DEIFan16 posted: 08.07.2007 - 6:31 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) *yawn* huh, oh its over? Didnt realize. I was busy at A Black Crowes concert that ngiht and missed the last 125 laps. What a surprise Busch won! And Zan,I may be taking that last comment in the wrong way but screw you.I have nothing more to say about this race except it was the worst race since New Hampshire 2000.And that the Black Crowes Concert was $^#^ AWESOME! 13. adamal82 posted: 08.07.2007 - 6:58 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Harvick sat out at martinsville back in 02 because he was caught over the radio saying he was going to spin somebody out in teh truck race. he was parked in that race and then the cup race the following day 14. most posted: 08.07.2007 - 9:30 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Finally, different winners are good for the sport. Maybe Juan will win this weekend and NOT thank his crew or owner.... Maybe Jr will lose and blame his guys........ 15. Rusty posted: 08.08.2007 - 12:00 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Also....early in this race, there was a debris caution......for a piece of yellow tape? 16. Zan posted: 08.08.2007 - 4:46 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) To adamal82, thank you for clearing up the reason I couldn't remember Harvick being parked. You are a very nice person. Unlike DEIFan16, who thought I was being a wiseass when I only asked if Jr. caused the caution because he needed a caution to change shocks. It's not like he hasn't already done it. The other time he told it over his radio and got a penalty. So don't be saying "screw you" to me, please. 17. racer posted: 08.08.2007 - 5:34 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) the most full time time toyotas that made the race at 6. wow.. 18. Mamorese posted: 08.08.2007 - 10:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) So now we've stooped to throwing the yellow for pieces of tape? That's actually worse than invisibris in my opinion considering they could always use the excuse of "We can't find the debris but we're sure it's there". Come off it NASCAR and let them race. Guess when the last time we had a 200 lap green flag run was? 2004. We used to see them all the time prior to that, but I guess tape has gotten more dangerous since then *rolls eyes* 19. DEIFan16 posted: 08.09.2007 - 7:53 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Didnt matter, he still had a good car most of the race, he probably would have finished in the top 15 either way. And like I said, this race was so boring. And lastly it didnt change the outcome of the race, Busch would have won either way. 20. DEIFan16 posted: 08.10.2007 - 2:33 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) And i do apologize to you Zan, Im just irritated that whenever something like that happens people think hes cheating or something. But I will always have his back! 21. Steve posted: 08.12.2007 - 5:29 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The yellow flag must be thrown when tape in on the racetrack! If it's sticky-side up, a driver could run over it and pick up an equivalent to a "flat spot". If it's sticky-side down, a driver who runs over it could loose grip and spin out. It's very dangerous!!! Thomas, I'm glad that at least two of us enjoy other forms of racing as well. That flip by Franchitti wasn't as bad as the landing. Especially if you're Scott Dixon! Too bad they're not back at MIS in 2008. 22. Mr. Big posted: 08.18.2007 - 2:02 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) What a boring race. If I remember right, from laps 154-165, I fell asleep before being prodded awake by my little brother. Nobody likes races where one person dominates, and a great candidate for worst race of the year. 23. Harvick has settled down since then, but it was a pretty funny incident. I was at this race and when Greg Biffle spun, I thought my boy Awesome Bill was involved. He wasn't, THANK GOD!! and he also led a lap under green flag pitstops!! That was pretty cool. That's the first time I watched my driver lead in person in a very long time!! lol! 25. There was a piece of yellow tape in the 4th lane in Turn 1 and NASCAR needed to bunch 'em up. This was still the single file restart era, so NASCAR could only hope for a lapper to cause the big wreck they wanted. It didn't happen. 34. TooSmartForThis posted: 10.19.2018 - 8:02 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Well this was back when it took more than three laps for the field to string out so they didn't necessarily need big crashes to provide entertainment. Now crashes are the only entertainment they've got. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
