Montoya was not at fault at that accident, Truex was. Harvick should have gone after Truex if he had a problem, which he shouldn't have. I think he tries too hard to be the Intimidator. Unfortunately for him, the Intimidator didn't have to act like Danica Patrick at age 3, to get his point across. The field wasn't frozen since the race didn't end under caution, and there's no way he escaped the gravel trap before all of the lead lap cars had passed him by. 3. anon posted: 08.13.2007 - 4:50 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Speaking of cautions, another question: While certain incidents obviously warrant a full-course yellow, why are full-course cautions occurring even for the most minor incidents? Is there no such thing as a local caution anymore? Or are these - like the beloved phantom "debris" cautions - just another way NASCAR manufactures artificial competition by bunching the field up for no valid reason? 4. But great run for the Gibbs organization 1st,2nd,and Yeley in 18th. Jimmie comes home w/ a 3rd after an incident w/ Montoya. Also Jimmie's best road course finish to date (August 12, 2007) 5. gqboy68 posted: 08.13.2007 - 5:37 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Personally I think Kevin at the Age of 32 should start acting like a man and stop acting like a 18 year old kid.....I really think its time he start investing some of his time in anger management courses this is starting to become ridiculous. I think he should take after his teammate Jeff Burton who shows what "class" is. ricky rudd greg biffle joe nemechek juan pablo montoya Are just a few names that come to mind when i think of all the people he quarrels with. He isnt even half the driver Dale Earnhardt was and yes some of you Harvick fans are going to say otherwise but he really "isnt a nice person" in my opinion. Most polls have Kurt Busch as the most hated driver on the circuit well i think Harvick may have finally dethroned him after yesterday incident as he doesnt have his facts straight yet again. 6. gqboy68 posted: 08.13.2007 - 5:39 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Harvick is a baby plain and simple. Ive never had respect for the guy and never will. And he isnt even half the driver Dale Earnhardt was. As far as im concern Jeff Burton is the best driver at RCR anyways and he has a hell of alot more class. 7. Great run for Greg. 10th place at his worst track. WTG!!! 8. Also was pretty hilarious to watch Carl Edwards spin out on the last lap. 9. Zac posted: 08.14.2007 - 4:26 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Wow. You guys want any reason to hate Kevin Harvick. Juan didn't take his helmet off, either. Juan was the one pushing him over and over yelling god knows what out of his mouth that no one can understand. Juan shouldn't have blocked Truex going into one off of a restart. Juan, get your head out your ass and learn how to drive. Martin Truex, thanks for wrecking Juan. Kevin Harvick, stop trying to pick fights with everyone you know. It's unfair to them because you could lay them out. This post was made with some sarcasm and some of it was not meant to be taken seriously. ;) 10. Zac posted: 08.14.2007 - 4:26 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) And people need to get over comparing him with Dale Earnhardt. Christ. That's not even funny anymore. 11. Douche Bagolow posted: 08.14.2007 - 5:01 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Edwards didn't spin out. He just drove too hard into the corner and took a trip through the kitty litter. 12. Darrell posted: 08.14.2007 - 9:09 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Riiiiiighhtt. And Jeff Gordon just drove too hard into turn 1 and had a visit through the asphalt. 13. Dodge posted: 08.15.2007 - 1:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sure Harvick was innocent in the cause of the wreck but he was guilty about making it worse by blocking Montoya from going to the garage. Harvick is a jerk and always will be. Montoya was trying to explain what happened and he walked away until Harvick followed him and he shoved him harder. Its unfortunate, but Harvick is a bully. Those that think he is the man are idiots. Plain and simple. If we are gonna penalize Montoya for blocking then everybody will have to be penalized. Not play favorites like NASCAR clearly does by letting Chevy drivers get away with so much. Can't start doing what the Daytona Prototype series does and favor a few teams and not others. 14. Great race! Watch this race over and over, NASCAR. This is how it should be. I must commend them for not using nonsensical officiating in this race. Could NASCAR have actually been embarrassed by what happened in Montreal? I doubt it, but I can still dream, can't I? 17. Boris loved the idea and jumped right in and gave the Wood Brothers a solid 14th place finish!! as Boris would say "I guess That's why they call him Awesome Bill From Dawsonville, Thanks so much to Bill and the Wood Brothers for this oppurtunity!" 27. jp posted: 03.01.2009 - 3:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) HAAAAAA!! After all the times he has ruined someone's day by either spinning/wrecking them, he has NO room to blow his lid at somebody else. I'm not saying it wasn't Montoya's fault, because it was. If Juan hadn't tried to cut off Truex, the mess wouldn't have happened. But after all the times Havoc has made an idiot out of himself, he has no room to complain. 29. I think he must have slid in oil or something, the car was extremely loose at that point. Tony Stewart goes by and wins, he himself stated that he would not have won had Jeff not spun out and he was surprised himself by the outcome. Then Harvick gets angry at Montoya but it was not his fault, it was Martin Truex that caused Harvick to spin out and crash and collide into Montoya. In that time, people were still figuring out the COT platform which was good for safety, yet many drivers, especially ones that had success in the old cars had some trouble. 34. Matt said he was "a little busy with something" and it wasn't long before the man was apprehended by security. 40. Instead, Carpentier got the opportunity and it turned into him driving full time for the team in 2008. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
