Even as a 48 fan I know this win came just as pure luck, but you got to put yourself in a good situation to become lucky. HMS 4 wins in the Chase thus far. HMS 16 wins in the season. WOW! 3. I hope Mark isnt to shaken up after that hard hard crash......and cant Jr. catch a break....another Top 5 run is spoiled by somthing that was mechanical failure.....and as DW would say.....you picked a fine time to leave me a loose wheel 4. If they're going to do the damn thing, why can't they do it right and run until the race ends under green? Oh wait, I forgot, that makes too much sense. Fairly good race until Jeff Gordon Junior defied logical reasoning once again by winning a race after leading only 12 of 500 miles. 7. In his 417th start, it is the first time he has wheeled a Chevolet in Cup racing. Unfortunatly for him, he was involved in accident and placed 40th. Water in the fuel causes problems for several cars, including Dave Blaney, Greg Biffle and Denny Hamlin, perhaps more. 10. Everyone says he will win in the 83 next year, but that isn't possible because he is out of the top 35 this year. Who cares about the future. I couldn't give one load of donkey poo how good Vickers will be 3 years from now. It is all about what happens now. 2 talented drivers left strong teams and killed their racing careers to "Build for championships in the future" (AJ left Indycars where he was runner up in points and had 5 wins. Vickers left Hendrick who is dominating this year. He would have been in the Chase and scored several wins this year if he stayed with Hendrick, and he would be Dale Jr's teammate for 2008), but Vickers switched to a team with no points or provisionals just for the $TOYOTA$ money. Now both of them suck because they are bad qualifiers. Everybody knows somebody like Tony Raines or Dave Blaney who rarely finishes well but has a top 35 points position are better drivers than people who only qualify half the time but runs well when they are in the race. Vickers sucks because of 1. Bad equipment 2. Owner point rule. It doesn't matter if Brian Vickers dominates 2009 like Hendrick is doing now, it will always matter that him and 5 of the 6 other Toyota teams are out of the top 35 now and nobody will forget about his bad season in 2007, even if he wins more races than Dale Sr. and that Toyota is the laughing stock of NASCAR, like Spyker is in F1. Here is a little comparison chart between NASCAR and F1. NASCAR Toyota = Spyker F1. Bad, Superbad, and Always Will Be Bad because of the top 35 rule. 11.
