Jimmie Johnson becomes the first to win four straight races since Jeff Gordon in 1998. As far as I'm concerned, Jeff should just concede to Jimmie when it comes to the championship. But whatever happens next, we'll try and win four straight at Homestead. 2. Nuck Chorris posted: 11.12.2007 - 11:52 am Rate this comment: (1) (4) Johnson wins one that belonged to Carl Edwards, but NASCAR officials couldn't allow somebody else to win (and therefore keep Lowes and their money out of victory lane) so they told Edwards's spotter to tell him to bring it in so Johnson didn't have to finish second to a Roush car. 4. Darrell posted: 11.12.2007 - 12:34 pm Rate this comment: (1) (1) Nuck, I hope that's a joke. Otherwise, that goes down and perhaps the stupidest comment I've ever read on this website. (And believe me, I've seen some doozys) I didn't like Gordon saying what he did about the championship being over. Yes, Johnson's hot, but anything can happen next weak. If he finishes 19th or lower, Gordon can still bring home the title. At any rate, I hope Gordon wins it because in reality, he should be a 6-time champion. 5. They won't really slam the cha$e for what it really is until Jr. wins the Title in the old format by 200+, but loses in the chase points by 15 or less. Long live the CHA$E, just one of NA$CAR's many new blunder's. 8. NASCAR sucks posted: 11.12.2007 - 5:10 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) It's funny that people say that Johnson deserves the title because he won more races, but they didn't say that in 1996. I think by the way that Terry Labonte deserved that title just like Kenseth in 2003. No sarcasm or any thing. But NASCAR DOT COM would have you believe 6 wins is a joke and the cha$e, is what is really the money. 9. Nuck Chorris posted: 11.12.2007 - 7:40 pm Rate this comment: (0) (3) Darrell, the part about Edwards being told to bring it in was a joke. The fact that I HATE Jimmie Johnson, the fact that he is a cheating, talentless prettyboy, and that he id my new least favorite driver is not. 10. Anonymous posted: 11.13.2007 - 6:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) How does he DO it?!?!?!?! 11. Porkrind posted: 11.14.2007 - 1:28 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) At any given point in time, there has to be the driver who has the most success. At this point in time, and since the 2006 Daytona 500, that driver has been Jimmie Johnson. Like it or not, he has the crew chief, the pit crew, the engineering, and he also drives the car. Someone has to be the most successful. As far as most talented, that's up to debate. 12. Anonymous posted: 11.15.2007 - 7:19 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) To say Jimmie Johnson is talentless is ridiculous and beyond idiotic. 13. Mike posted: 11.17.2007 - 6:37 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Edwards's 42nd is the worst finish this year for a polesitter. Previous worst was McMurray's 37th at Sonoma. 14. Mike posted: 11.17.2007 - 6:38 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Correction, previous worst was Newman finishing 39th in the 600. 15. most posted: 11.19.2007 - 4:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yeah, I hate watching Hendrick cars win but you can't say they have no talent. Casey Mears is now the 3rd most talented driver at Hendrick, guess who is a distant last...... Glad the season is coming to an end, it has been one of the more bring ones I can remember, I dont care what NA$CAR says, the field isn't even when 2 drivers win almost half of the races, they need to work on that a bit.... 16. Very boring with little excitement at all. 20. jp posted: 03.01.2009 - 3:35 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) '07 was only the WORST!!! It makes '74 look like the best year ever!!! 21. He DNQ'd for the 2008 Daytona 500 and lost his ride later on due to a lack of sponsorship. Also Johnny Benson made his first start in the Cup series since the fall 2005 Atlanta race. 22.
