At roughly 91.7 miles, this is perhaps the longest course in the history
of American Open Wheel (excluding the point-to-point Cactus Derby).
Small wonder why the race was only two laps!

Looks like AAA Champ Car was about a century ahead of the curve in
assuring fans a green-white-checker finish...just make the laps so long
the whole race is a green-white-checker.
