Also known as "Beverly Hills Speedway" because of where it was located
in Los Angeles. This board track would be very short lived, it opened in
February 1920 and closed just four days short of four years later in
February 1924. This track, like so many in Southern California, was
doomed by raising property values that quickly made the land it sat on
too valuable to be used for a race track. The track was demolished and
the property sold off to developers while racing over to Culver City.
The famous Beverly Wilshire Hotel now stands on part of the site where
the race track once was.
