Redwood Acres Raceway(previously Eureka Speedway)
Located in Eureka this 3/8 mile, semi-banked, asphalt oval features
Sportsman, Mini Stock and Pure Stock racing.

When NASCAR ran in 1956 and 1957 the track was a 5/8 dirt oval.

This track is still operating today.

#2, That link is dead now.


This place is called Redwood Acres Speedway now.


the 1951 Eureka CA map shows the track. It is larger than what is there
now. The turns 1&2 were closer to that angled road than now.

3 adn 4 would be out between the extension of Hall Ave and Pleasant Ave
in the old days. There seems to be a nice rounded wall to the outside of
turn 1.

It was 5/8 and now 3/8. I think the track shrunk from all directions
except the front stretch.
