Track opened as Irwindale Speedway, changed its name to San Gabriel
Valley Speedway, and finally changed to Speedway 605 before closing.

This track was demolished after its closure.

Can someone tell me exactly where this track was at? East side of I 605
correct?

Yes, east of 605 on Rivergrade Road between the freeway and Live Oak.
Where Commerce Dr. turns to meet Rivergrade, that portion of the street
literally cuts across the end of the front straight and the start of the
back straight.

Track actually ran through 1978 before closing.
