As of the date of this post this is the first track on racing-reference
when they are listed alphabetically.

David Bergman died here in 1996 after an accident of unknown
circumstances. He was 48

Well considering the CARS tour ran here in 2018... I'm guessing its open.

From Bob Pockrass: "NC Governor Roy Cooper said state will take action
against Ace Speedway if local officials do not. Track had a race last
week with signs calling it a protest, which county sheriff determined
sufficient to be able to be a mass gathering. Track website shows next
race is June 19."

So now they have a real reason to protest, and since "peaceful" protests
are cool & apparently unaffected by any concern about spreading disease,
they should open up again this weekend.

But they won't.

The governor of North Carolina has ordered the closure of Ace Speedway
-- citing the short track as an 'imminent threat' to public safety.

The track has raced three weekends in a row with thousands of fans in
attendance in defiance of a mass gathering ban.

It doesn't help that under the guise of a protest, they held the CARS
Tour race. Reported an attendance of 800 but had sold 2,000 tickets.
Just all sorts of issues.
