Forsyth County Fairgrounds-.5 mile dirt oval. Located in Winston-Salem,
NC. Racing was discontinued in 1963. Only race was in 1955.

It appears from record books that by the time NASCAR started racing here
the track was already known as the "Winston-Salem Fairgrounds".

Fair known as Dixie Classic Fair. Track is basically gone, though a
portion of the grandstand is still standing, though it doesn't appear to
be in the greatest condition. Looks like it is used for things like
tractor pulls and demolition derbies at the fair.

The actual area of the track is some strange and recently rebuilt car
facility, part parking lot, but also appears to be designed for some
other activity, perhaps truck driving training.
