However, the track is not a mile in length, it is still the same 4/10 mile configuration it had when it was built in 1988. Motor Mile Speedway is NASCAR sanctioned and participates in the Whelen All American Series for which Philip Morris won the national championship in 2006, 2008, and 2009 in addition to the track championship each year from 2005 through 2009 as well as the 1997 and 2001 track championships. Currently the Motor Mile Speedway website lists it's location as Radford, VA, not Dublin, VA. 2. It was purchased by Shelor Automotive Group in 2004 and was subsequently renamed Motor Mile Speedway.
