I think the track was at the cross between North Military Highway and
Lowery Road. There's a WalMart in that place.

Easy to find. 1955 USGS Kempsville VA map.

NE of the HWY 13 and 58 intersection. Just south of Raby (1955) / Lowery
(now) Rd.

Looks like WalMart pretty much covers the infield and is oriented as the
track was.

You can check with Google earth, the map mentioned above, and this photo
