The track was actually called Southampton Motor Speedway and closed in
May 2004. The track still stands, it's just slowly decaying.

worked on many late model stocks and modifieds there painted walls and
fixed water damaged wall and track surface,, was there the day they
paved from high banked dirt to asphalt,drivers that have won there
included, denny hamlin,frank denny,phil warren, shawn balluzo... i raced
a street stock there in the last event held at the track,. joe gibbs
racing used trsck for testing along with roush in the early years...
