Closed in 1966.

And to add to the other comment, the obviously abandoned track was still
visible in aerial footage even in 1996.

Today Starkey Park is located on the former site of the speedway. Two
softball fields, a playground, parking lots and other athletic fields
fill the site. There appears to be nothing left of the racetrack, with
the only hint a slight curve to the trees at the south end of the former
oval. Track was still physically present on aerial shots as late as 1982.
