The location of Southern National Raceway Park is actually Kenly, not
Kenley.

This short track opened in 1993.

This location was a cottonfield before the track was built.

In 1996 this track became the first in North Carolina to host a round of
the ASA National Tour, a traditionally Midwestern series. ASA held its
series finale at Kenly from 1996 to 1998 with the track leaving the
schedule afterward.
