RaceFanX posted: 01.12.2021 - 10:23 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Built in 1955, the fittingly named Auto City Speedway is located just north of "Vehicle City" in Flint and serves as the area's de facto home track. The track was initially a dirt track and remained that way for three decades until it was paved in 1986. Future NASCAR Cup champion Brad Keselowski and his brother Brian Keselowski both cut their teeth racing here before they got their shots at the big time, with both siblings earning Rookie of the Year honors here. ARCA ran its first ran here as MARC back in 1963 and it was a regular stop on the tour from 1966 to 1968 before its brief two-year return in the 1980s.
