Track was built in 1947 and is still open. It's listed as the only paved
1/2-mile in the Chicago area. Bobby Wawak and Bobby Dotter both were
Late Model track champions here.

Just announced yesterday that the track is closed. That's a shame. Grew
up 35 minutes away from that track. RIP Illiana Motor Speedway.
