A progressively banked 3/8s (.375) mile oval. Home to some of the best
racing in the world. I was the PA announcer at this track from
2009-2012. I could speak for hours, one of my most beloved places in the
entire world. Still racing every Saturday night. If you live in Michigan
and have not spent one Saturday night at this track, you are not a true
race fan.

A smaller track, Owosso Motorsports Park, is almost right in the town.
This track is a few miles west and was formerly a longer dirt track,
0.600 miles, before becoming a 3/8 mile paved track.

Michigan has a few short tracks that are in a bit more populated areas
than you would expect. Whittemore Speedway actually is right smack in
the middle of the titular small mid-Michigan town.
