Corbin Speedway. Corbin, Kentucky. Track is active. Currently a 1/4
Paved Oval. For their single NASCAR race it was a .5 Mile Dirt Oval. In
1954 the race was won by Lee Petty. The track closed during the 60's but
reopened. Corbin Speedway to date is the only track to host a Cup race
in NASCAR in the state of Kentucky.

No longer is it the only Kentucky Cup track, as the Kentucky Speedway
sees racing.

Absolutely no clue when Corbin reopened, but it did, and sees local events.

Found some evidence saying that it reopened around 1980 or so.

It looks from the website, the track is closed. I'm not sure

It appears this track closed in 2014, seemingly with the intent of it
being permanent as its Facebook page lists the track as having shut
down, but in 2016 it reopened. Car turnouts weren't great from what I've
seen but the track was open again this year.

Looks like you can still make out the old .5 mile track on Google Maps.
