Roby Speedway only hosted one Champ Car race but it was in operation
from 1920 to 1936. The grandstands was condemned and then the track was
torn down in 1937 but some parts of the north turn remained until about
1949.

This track was within spitting distance of the Indiana-Illinois state
line on the Indiana side. It was only about 100 feet away and the
backstretch paralleled State Line Road.
