One of the most intimidating 1/2 miles I have EVER been to. High banked,
wicked fast and just simply out of control. I absolutely LOVE the Toledo
Speedway.

After hosting ARCA races regularly for the last 35 years, Toledo is
missing from the preliminary 2020 schedule when NASCAR takes over.
However, this is not a finalized list of tracks and may still change.

That would be too bad. This track has a great history with ARCA, and I'd
like to see the series remain there for many years to come.

As big of a racing fan as I am, I have only been to one track that races
at the top level, and it's Toledo Speedway, where I saw 2 ARCA races
when I was 11-12 in the mid 2000s. It would certainly be sad to see this
track leave.

@3 I think they held ARCA races before 1985, but this site doesn't have
those results.

Toledo has hosted 78 ARCA races since 1963 and will continue to do so
next season. That image is several months outdated and several tracks
have been moved in and out of the proposed schedule shown there. I can
say that with certainty at least 12 of those tracks are accurate for the
current iteration of the 2020 ARCA schedule, a few more are currently
borderline and a few more are not going to be on the ARCA schedule.
Toledo is one of those unconfirmed for now but I'd be very surprised to
not see it next year. There's also a few tracks with confirmed dates for
next year that aren't shown on that list.

Some of the points under ?Rationale? have also changed since that photo
was taken as well.

Source: If you don't believe that, just wait a couple more months for
the schedule to be released.

@7 - as far as I can tell, ARCA ran their first race at Toledo Speedway
in August 1962, a 100 lapper won by Paul Parks. Prior to that ARCA ran
at Toledo Raceway Park, a 1/2 mile dirt track that was later used for
horse racing.

The ARCA/K&N 2020 announcement mentions that Toledo will be on the ARCA
East schedule next year, which should end rumors of the track being left
off of next year's schedule.
