Wall Township Speedway (aka Wall Stadium), is a 1/3 Mile Paved Oval race
track in Wall Township, New Jersey. The track, opened to the public in
the spring of 1950, and it operated through the 2007 racing season. The
track, brought up racing stars Ray Evernham, Jr. and Martin Truex, Jr.
Also, it hosted NASCAR Strictly Stock Series (now Sprint Cup) event in
1958. Well known drivers, races over the years Gil Hearne (eight time
champion), John Blewett III, Jimmy Blewett (Two time champion), Jimmy
Spencer (Garden State Classic winner), Tony Siscone (six time champion),
Richie Evans, Charlie Jarzombek (Garden State Classic winner), to name a
few.

After the 2007 season, plans were iffy that the track will go on.
Unfortunately, several employees were laid off from their positions. The
dark conformation was announced on, March 14, 2008 that the track would
be closed.

After months of closure, the track was leased and reopened. The track is
alive and ready to host the 2010 Season.

Track still going strong, good car counts for all divisions opening
April 23 for the 2016 season

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will return to Wall Stadium in 2019,
after a 12 year absence.

Tour regular Blake Barney's home track as well as Andrew Krause and
Jimmy Blewett, all 3 can be expected to have a strong showing in the May
race

#6 yeah and I can't be more excited, we go to the track every week and
can't wait to see the tour return, but Turkey Derby over the next 3 days
will be just as good

The track will officially close next year and be turned into a housing
development per a report from Speed Sport.

Sad that some tracks have to go down, especially good tracks.
Riverside's probably the saddest for me, but tracks like Nazareth and
North Wilkesboro are up there as well.

Dont worry, the plane fell through and was denied at the town meeting
last night. Tracks safe for now
