Track is almost like a circle, but it definitly gave somebody a great
introduction to NASCAR on July 23rd 2011. :)

Went there for the first time for the 2014 Jegs 150. Now I go there on a
monthly basis! lol

This track opened in 1946 as a motorcycle-focused dirt track. It was
paved in 1957 as the focus shifted to stock cars. The track will close
and be demolished at the end of its 2016 season fillowing a change in
ownership.

The track doesn't have a flagstand. Lights were installed for night
racing in 1950.

Fortress Obetz, a multi-purpose complex, now occupies the site where
this track stood.
