Known as spud speedway, it closed in 2015

Good news. This track reopened in mid-2018 after two full years of
laying dormant. It was first built in 1964 and promotes itself as
"Northern Maine's Center of Speed."

Aroostook County is notably the largest county in the United States east
of the Mississippi River. It is located in the northernmost section of
Maine and it larger than both the states of Rhode Island and Connecticut
put together. One of the county offices in Caribou.

People from Aroostook County call it simply "The County"
