Dirt horse track most well known in New England. By the 1920's the track
was finding it difficult to compete with other forms of entertainment.
In 1925 Connecticut passed an anti betting law, this would spell the end
for the track. It fell into disrepair, and was closed in the 1930's, it
is now occupied by a strip mall and big box stores.
