@1 From what I can tell, this track cut through the city of Lowell
through what is now called Pawtucket Boulevard (State Route 113), along
the Merrimack River, and making a hairpin at Route 3A in Tyngsborough.
Even in 2019 the road is winding and hilly; I can't imagine what it was
like over 100 years ago.
