Oxford Plains Speedway is a racetrack in Oxford, Maine, USA. Established
in 1950, it has been home to various NASCAR Nationwide Series events,
including the True Value Oxford 250, Oxford 250 and the True Value 250.
With 14,000 seats, the speedway has the largest seating capacity of any
sporting venue in Maine.

The track is still active. In addition a drag strip is also their.

In 2005 the Busch North Series made a return to the speedway as Dave
Dion took the checkered flag.

Used to be 1/3 miles (for NASCAR races), now is 3/8 mile.

1992
The track is paved prior to opening day. The widening of the backstretch
changed the configuration to a 3/8 mile oval.

So I guess if you walk the track and stay low on the back stretch you
will pretty much retrace B. Allison's first win.

Nascar North series ran here 29 times from 1980-1985, dang.
