.5 Mile Dirt Oval. Located near Rochester, NY. Many NASCAR events took
place. Track closed in 1962 and then reopened briefly in 1982.

This was located at the Monroe County Fair in Rochester, NY, which was
at E. Henrietta and Calkins Road from 1947-2013. Incredibly the race
track was still around on aerial views until 2005, though it looks like
it was unused for some time before that.

"The Dome Arena" remains from the County Fair days but otherwise the
site was given over to boring sprawl development including a grocery
store, bank, and apartments. Basically nothing of the track appears to
remain, aside from some parking areas by the arena which may have been
used in the racing days.
