Semi-permanent street circuit originally constructed for IMSA's iconic
Miami Grand Prix. After IMSA left it was revived for CART while the oval
was being built in Homestead, that track's completion for the end of
1995/1996 including its infield road course led to the total abandonment
of this street circuit.

The direction of racing was reversed for the CART race as it was from
its IMSA days.

Most of the area where this track was set up has been demolished. The
area is now called Museum Park and is home to the AmericanAirlines Arena
where the Miami Heat play. A new street course for Formula E was set up
in the new area in 2015.
