This is short track was first paved race track in Alabama. The track
opened in 1953. It closed for a few years in the later 2000s and Hyundai
used it as a storage facility for cars it produced in Alabama. Some new
ownership reopened in the track in 2009 and it is still hosting
bi-weekly racing.

The famous Alabama Gang cut their teeth here for a few years.
